Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of wildrp.com (the “website”) and your participation in the WildRP community, including our Discord server and game servers. By using the website or submitting an application, report, or appeal, you agree to these terms, to our Community Rules, and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

In these terms, “WildRP”, “we”, and “us” mean the WildRP community as managed by its current Admin Team.

WildRP is an independent, volunteer-run roleplay community for RedM. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or Cfx.re. Red Dead Redemption and related marks are the property of their respective owners.

You must be at least 18 years old to apply for the allowlist or take part in the community. To apply, you must have a Steam account and a Discord account, and be a member of the WildRP Discord server. Additional requirements, such as audio quality, are described in the Community Rules.

• Your application, and every answer in it, must be your own work and truthful. The use of AI to write applications is prohibited, and applications found to use AI will be denied.
• Allowlisting is granted at the sole discretion of WildRP staff. Submitting an application does not entitle you to be accepted, and staff are not required to give a reason for a decision.
• Allowlisted status is not permanent. It may be suspended or revoked under the Community Rules, including for leaving the WildRP Discord.
• Please do not contact staff to speed up or contest an application decision. Denied applicants may reapply after the waiting period described in our FAQ.

All community members must follow the Community Rules, which form part of these terms. Staff may take disciplinary action, including warnings, suspensions, and permanent bans, for violations. Disciplinary decisions are made through the process described in the rules, and ban appeals are submitted through the Ban Appeal form.

Access to and use of the website are personal to you. When using the website, you agree not to:

• submit false, misleading, or impersonated information, link accounts that are not yours, or apply on behalf of someone else;
• use the website’s data or content for commercial, political, or advertising purposes, including unsolicited offers;
• interfere with the website’s operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or bypass security measures such as reCAPTCHA;
• use bots, scrapers, or automated means to submit forms or overload the website;
• upload or link to content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or that infringes someone else’s rights.

You keep ownership of what you submit. By submitting an application, report, appeal, or other content, you allow WildRP staff to use it to review your application, moderate the community, and investigate issues. You are responsible for what you submit, including any information about other players.

The website and its contents, including the WildRP name and logos, text, graphics, images, video, and code, are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of it without our prior written permission. You do not acquire any rights in the imagery or other intellectual property shown on the website by using it.

If we do not act immediately on an infringement, that does not mean we consent to it or waive our right to act later.

The website links to and depends on services we do not control, including Discord, Steam, RedM, and Google. Your use of them is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

The WildRP launcher and any other software we offer for download are provided “as is”. You install and use them at your own risk.

Financial support is never required to take part in WildRP. Any contributions are voluntary, go toward server costs, and do not grant ownership of anything or any guarantee of allowlisting.

To manage the website properly, we may at any time:

• suspend, interrupt, limit, or decline access to the website for some or all visitors;
• remove any information that disrupts the website or conflicts with applicable law or these terms;
• make the website temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates;
• change or discontinue any part of the website.

The website is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. You are responsible for how you connect to the website and for protecting your equipment and data, for example against viruses.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WildRP and its staff are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website, the launcher, or our servers, including damage to your equipment or loss of data.

If WildRP becomes involved in a dispute or legal claim because of your misuse of the website or violation of these terms, you agree to cover the resulting losses and costs, to the extent permitted by law.

We may suspend or end your access to the website, the Discord server, or our game servers at any time if you violate these terms or the Community Rules. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and indemnity, will continue to apply.

These terms are governed by applicable local, regional, national, and international law. Any dispute will be handled by the courts with jurisdiction where WildRP operates, unless a legal exception applies.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and significant changes will be announced in the WildRP Discord. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
